Looking for the Best Pizza in Seattle? Look No Further! Talarico's Pizzeria of West Seattle & Their Sister Restaurant The Ballroom are on the Top of Our List for Our Out & About in the Emerald City's 'Dining With Sancho' Series!

One of West Seattle's best restaurants -- and sadly, there are few -- is Talarico's Pizzeria. They also have a sister restaurant in Fremont,  Seattle called The Ballroom. This is by far the best pizza in Seattle, especially since the closing of Capitol Hill's Piecora's pizza.   Talaricos/Ballroom serves a wonderful Caesar salad and slices is big as your head.  They have wonderful servers -- after going there more than a dozen times, I've yet to have a bad experience. And I'm a pretty demanding diner. They have great bartenders,  and they are one of my favorite places to watch football games -- go Hawks!

One of my other favorite things to get there is the roasted beet salad with red and yellow beets, spicy walnuts, crumbled blue cheese, basil, pesto, vinegar and arugula for only  $7.95! I would say it's about the best and cheapest salad you're going to find, West Seattle!

They also have homemade meatballs which they serve four at a time simmered in their house marinara with parmesan, basil and garlic bread for $9.00! They have a plate called a 'succotash' with roasted fresh corn, zucchini, diced tomato, and beer-braised onions and basil sautée served on a bed of spinach for $5.00!

They have gluten-free pasta which is always nice -- you can take your hippie friends with you ha ha! I love their 'penne lla vodka' that has  snow shallots, garlic and tomatoes in a pomodoro cream sauce finished with a splash of vodka at $14.... My kids love the squash spaghetti with oven roasted spaghetti squash with carrots, red onion, tomato and basil served on a bed of arugula topped with parmesan.

Also, they are known for their awsome trivia nights -- check their website here to see what nights they have their super fun trivia -- normally on Wednesday nights between 8 to 10pm. They also have food specials on those nights with slider plates for $8.00 and a trivia antipasto plate for $10 and lots of fun drink specials.

A great all-year pizzeria for the whole family, a romantic date, or for an afternoon alone watching the game -- you're always in good company at Talaricos!
